Best Star Meat Beef to continue trading as Van Rooi Beef

With effect from 1 July 2026, the Van Loon Group will transfer the operations of Best Star Meat Beef (BSMB) to Van Rooi Beef. This merger will enable the beef operations to be organised more efficiently and will allow the capacity and expertise of the Nuth and Someren sites to be utilised to the full. Best Star Meat Beef will continue to operate under the name Van Rooi Beef. This proposed change will have no impact on employment.
