The VKI form (Food Chain Information) is a mandatory document that must be completed correctly and in full when pigs are delivered. Slaughterhouses are legally obliged to receive this information so that they can guarantee food safety and traceability.
Recently, we have noticed errors in particular when filling in the ear tag number series and the details of orange pigs.
An incomplete or incorrectly completed form can lead to:
- Delays in delivery
- Rejection of animals
- Additional administrative hassle
