Van Loon Group acquires production and sale of fresh sauces from Conveni Landgraaf

Van Loon Group has taken over the activity of producing and selling fresh pasta sauces from Conveni Landgraaf. With this acquisition, Van Loon Group expands its offering of fresh meals and soups for customers in retail and foodservice. The agreement between Van Loon Group and Conveni was finalized last week.

This year the production of fresh sauces will be integrated into the Maître company in Oude-Tonge, which is a part of Van Loon Group.

"With the acquisition of the fresh sauces division from Conveni, we’re strengthening our proposition for our customers in retail and foodservice. These delicious chilled sauces are a great addition to our existing range of fresh meals and soups. We intend to transfer the activities to Oude-Tonge during the course of the year," says Robert van Ballegooijen, CEO of Van Loon Group.

Van Loon Group has been active in the Convenience market since 2021. Meal preparation company Bonfait was successfully added to the group in the same year, and in 2023, Maître, specialized in the production of chilled fresh meals and soups followed and became part of Van Loon Group.
