The Dutch ACM (Authority for Consumers and Markets) has approved the merger between Van Rooi and Van Loon Group – pending approval from two European competition authorities.

Van Loon Group will focus on more meat with plant-based ingredients over the next two years. “Our ambition is to make 7.5 per cent of our meat products hybrid by 2027,” says sustainability director Roland van Loon.
