Changes to the Holland Varken Quality Regulations

A revised version of the Holland Varken Quality scheme for pig farms came into force on 1 February 2026.

The main changes are:

Implementation of the National PRRS Plan 2025–2040, aimed at healthy and vigorous pigs.
An adjusted benchmark value for the Animal Daily Dose (DDD) for weaned piglets.
An update of the general criteria within Holland Varken Quality.
