Changes to the Holland Varken Quality Regulations
A revised version of the Holland Varken Quality scheme for pig farms came into force on 1 February 2026.
The main changes are:
- Implementation of the National PRRS Plan 2025–2040, aimed at healthy and vigorous pigs.
- An adjusted benchmark value for the Animal Daily Dose (DDD) for weaned piglets.
- An update of the general criteria within Holland Varken Quality.
