Oudewater Location to Close on 1 March 2027

Following careful consideration and extensive research, Van Loon Group has decided to close its production site in Oudewater with effect from 1 March 2027.

We have chosen to gradually relocate production activities to other sites within the Van Loon Group. These sites have the space, machinery and capacity to take over the work. By consolidating production, we can operate more efficiently, guarantee continuity for our customers and continue to invest in quality, (food) safety and a future-proof organisation.

Production and logistics activities will be relocated in phases to other existing sites from September 2026 onwards; this will ensure continuity and delivery reliability for customers. A carefully planned ‘from job to job’ programme is in place for staff, offering personal support and suitable solutions.

All production and logistics activities at the Oudewater site will cease by 15 February 2027 at the latest. The premises will then be handed over on 1 March 2027.
